Benefit Advisors Network Admits American Insurance Administrators as Newest Member

CLEVELAND, OH (1/24/13) --- Benefit Advisors Network (BAN), a national network of progressive, independently owned employee benefit brokers and consulting firms, has just named as its newest member Mechanicsburg, PA-based AIA Benefits Resource Group, a division of American  Insurance Administrators, Inc. (AIA)

Established in 1987 with four employees, AIA now has 75 employees. The firm represents both regional and national employee benefit clients across various employer sizes ranging from 25 employees to over 2,500.

“We are thrilled to become a member of BAN,” said Dan Dorsheimer, Founding Principal. “Similar to other members, we also saw the opportunity to share intellectual knowledge, tools, and resources as the primary reason to join BAN. There is no other organization in the country that provides the unique structure and philosophy of collaboration and support.”

Continued Dorsheimer, “During the next three-to-five years we see continued acceleration in the pace of transformation in the health care and benefits market space. We feel our membership in BAN will add to our internal resources in helping us successfully navigate the complexities of the market and therefore add to the consultative value we provide our clients.”

In order to become a Smart Partner - or member – AIA Benefits Resource Group had to pass a screening process. “We are not just looking for any firm, but one that has a philosophical fit with the progressive and forward thinking of our current members,” said BAN Executive Director Perry Braun.  “We examine ethics in business, knowledge of the industry, as well as commitment to providing high quality service.
