Benefit Consulting Group Becomes Newest Member for Benefit Advisors Network

CLEVELAND, OH (6/2013) --- Syracuse, NY-based Benefit Consulting Group (BCG) has become the newest member of Benefit Advisors Network, a national network of progressive and visionary employee benefit brokers and consulting firms from across the United States.

In addition to its corporate offices in Syracuse, Benefit Consulting Group operates through offices across New York State including Buffalo, Cazenovia, Chittenango, Long Island, New Hartford, Oneida, Rome and Schenectady, as well as in Fort Mill, South Carolina. The company was founded in 1983 as Retirement Income Services, later changing its name to Benefit Consulting Group as it expanded its services to include employee benefits and human resources consulting.

In 2006, the firm was acquired by Oneida Savings Bank and joined the Oneida Financial Corporation (Nasdaq: ONFC) family of companies. Collectively, Oneida Financial companies offer one of the largest portfolios of business and financial services for companies and individuals.
