Perry Braun, Executive Director
Perry S. Braun has more than 25 years of experience in the employee benefits and healthcare industry. As Executive Director of Benefit Advisors Network (BAN), Perry is responsible for assisting private employee benefit brokerage firms with improving their performance and profitability through best practice learning, knowledge sharing, proven growth strategies, and enhanced operating efficiencies.
Perry also serves as Executive Director of the National Benefit Center, the sister organization to BAN. While BAN maximizes intellectual capital and collaboration among member agencies, the National Benefit Center focuses on product development. Perry serves as the head of both organizations to leverage the collective influence among members, and to ensure continuity between strategic planning and product outcomes.
Prior to his current positions, Perry was Vice President of Sales and Customer Relations at Medical Mutual of Ohio and served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Consortium Health Plans. He also held senior-level positions with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Ohio.
Perry studied International Business with a concentration in Economics at Bowling Green State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He later received his master’s degree in Business Administration, also from Bowling Green State University.
Perry is an accomplished and highly regarded professional with a proven record of identifying and closing market opportunities that lead to increased revenue and market share. He is a strategic thinker with the ability to forecast market needs, develop new products, find new distribution channels, increase sales, and extend market penetration. If you don’t find him serving members and clients, you’ll probably find him in his kitchen cooking up something creative, fresh, and delicious!
Andrea Dunn, Agency Administrator
Andrea Dunn has served as Agency Administrator for Benefit Advisors Network since 2014.
Andrea is responsible for the administrative functions of the office, including managing member registration and licensing for all states, coordinating monthly membership billing, organizing and hosting conference calls, and serving on the logistics team for semi-annual conferences.
Andrea has a master’s degree in Community and Social Development along with a master’s certification in strategic planning and program development. Prior to joining BAN, Andrea worked in the wealth management and investment field for more than 15 years. She is an excellent problem solver and is prepared to tackle even the most complex puzzle for BAN Members and their clients.
When Andrea is not working hard in the office, she can be found enjoying a hike in the great outdoors or listening to music. She also volunteers her time and expertise by designing economic programs or community-based programs to help serve underprivileged children.
Bobbi Kloss, Director of Human Capital Management Services
Bobbi Kloss has served as Director of Human Capital Management Department for Benefit Advisors Network since February of 2014. She also oversees all HR-related functions for BAN internal practices. She has a deep understanding of the increasingly complex and diverse HR industry, with more than 20 years of Human Resource Generalist and executive-level Human Capital Management experience.
Bobbi began her career as an Employment Law Compliance Paralegal for a National Professional Employer Organization after graduating with high honors from the Career Institute for Paralegals. Today, Bobbi provides her expertise to BAN’s employee benefit brokerage members as well as their employer clients, initiating proactive, strategic compliance practices which help limit their exposure to potential liabilities.
Bobbi is grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the growth of BAN Member Agencies and has a high regard for the collaboration and comradery that occurs within the BAN team and across the agencies. She has a passion for service and has helped establish two nonprofit organizations in Texas; co-founding Teenage Parent Program Scholarships (TAPPS) in Houston and founding Heritage Children San Antonio in 2003 to help at-risk youth develop necessary life skills. She currently volunteers her time mentoring women in addictive behavior recovery.
When Bobbi is not assisting employers or volunteering in the community, she can most likely be found exploring the Cleveland area using her trusted Ohio travel guide. Bobbi especially enjoys spending time with her son Matt, reconnecting with family in Ohio, road trips and is always on the hunt for a new shoe store.
Susi Liston, Member Services Coordinator for Compliance
Susi Liston has served as Member Services Coordinator for Compliance at Benefit Advisors Network since 2015.
In her role as Member Services Coordinator for Compliance, Susi works with BAN Member Agencies and their clients to provide demonstrations, training, and support for all of their compliance needs. Susi also supplies pricing quotes and license agreements for the Smart Compliance portal and the Variable Hour Tracking & Reporting tool used for ACA reporting. In addition, she serves as project manager for BAN’s annual Compliance Summit.
Susi brings more than 25 years of experience in policies and practices, compliance, customer service, business analysis and database research, sales reporting and quality control audits, and much more to the BAN team. She has worked in law offices, marketing firms, financial institutions, and even an international manufacturing company, all of which provided her with a wealth of practical knowledge and plenty of hands-on experience.
When Susi isn’t busy supporting BAN Members and their clients, she is most likely spending time with her grandchildren, her dog, or playing a friendly card game with friends (a tradition that has lasted 37 years!). In her spare time, Susi also helps support Big Brothers Big Sisters with a charitable fund established in honor of her late father, which funds sports outings for the bigs and littles.
Charles Nguyen, National Account Executive
Charles Nguyen joined Benefit Advisors Network as National Account Executive in June of 2019.
Charles serves and supports BAN Member Agencies in the Western United States by providing education, training, and valuable information on the services BAN offers. He works directly with brokerage firms to increase the adoption of resources applied within their agencies. Charles is inspired by the collaborative culture at BAN and is excited to work with the team to help agencies grow.
Charles began his insurance career after earning his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from California State University – Fullerton. He later furthered his studies at his alma mater where he obtained a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Risk Management and Insurance degree. He has operated in sales, account management, and leadership roles over the course of eight years and is excited to be a BAN team member.
When Charles is not busy serving BAN Members, you can most likely find him enjoying a run on the beach in his home state of California.
Denise Stefanoff, National Account Executive
Denise Stefanoff started working with Benefit Advisors Network as National Account Executive in 2013 and has over 20 years of experience working in the industry.
Denise is the main point of contact for BAN Member Agencies in the eastern United States. She serves members by educating them on BAN resources, helping new members successfully integrate with the network, organizing monthly meeting and peer groups, and much more. She is proud to be the “boots-on-the-ground” resource for BAN Member Agencies.
Prior to joining the BAN team, Denise worked for Wells Fargo Insurance as an Account Manager and spent five years with Aetna Insurance as a Senior Account Manager. She welcomes a new challenge every day and thrives on the spirit of collaboration and support that ties all BAN member agencies together.
When Denise isn’t working with BAN Members, you can find her traveling with her two kids and sampling any new foods they can get their hands on. Denise also speaks fluent Spanish!
Maria Stephans, National Account Executive
Maria Stephans joined Benefit Advisors Network team as National Account Executive in 2017.
Maria cares for all BAN Member Agencies in the central United States, assisting them with on-boarding, training, strategic planning, and overall support. She enjoys the chance to work with different people from all walks of life and welcomes every task the new day brings. Maria works hard to make sure the agencies know that she is a member of their team as well.
Maria is a licensed insurance agent, and prior to joining the BAN team she served as a Large Group Sales Rep for Ameritas. She attended the University of Wisconsin for her undergraduate degree where she studied Horticulture, the science of plants.
When Maria isn’t busy supporting BAN Member Agencies, you can find her spending time with her husband and their two cats, Nelson and Riley.
Caroline Williams, Member Support Coordinator
Caroline Williams has been working with Benefit Advisors Network as Member Support Coordinator since September of 2017.
Prior to working with BAN, Caroline served as Member Services Director for the Akron Bar Association for 13 years. She has a passion for helping people and is happy to find the answers to any question a member may have. Caroline’s wealth of experience along with her fun-loving and bubbly personality makes BAN Member Agencies and their clients feel that she is an extension of their team.
Caroline assists BAN members with access to the Virtual Office and helps to support all BAN members in the eastern United States. She loves working in such a supportive and encouraging network of people and businesses. She also heads BAN’s social media efforts, so be sure to look them up on Facebook!
On the days that Caroline isn’t busy assisting members and their clients she can be found working hard on her small home farm and enjoying time with her husband, two sons, and their dog.
Grace Yarcusko, Member Support Coordinator
Grace Yarcusko joined Benefit Advisors Network as Member Support Coordinator in 2019.
In her role, Grace supports BAN’s National Account Executives, creating a customer service experience that enables members to improve their performances and profitability. She specifically will handle on-boarding new members, managing the Virtual Office, which serves as an information center for BAN members, and assisting members with other BAN resources.
Prior to joining the team at Benefit Advisors Network, Grace worked as the Production Manager, Pattern Maker, and Design Consultant for Forma Apparel. She attended Ursuline College in Ohio and the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.
When Grace isn’t busy assisting BAN Members she can be found working hard in her home studio, cooking up new recipes, and enjoying time with her husband as they travel to visit their four children.
Steve Yarcusko, Member Development
Steve Yarcusko started working with Benefit Advisors Network in his Member Development role in 2008.
Steve graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a degree in Political Science and today is responsible for the recruitment of new BAN Members. He searches for the best and brightest new agencies that will benefit from becoming members and be a positive addition to the network.
Throughout his ten years of experience with BAN, Steve has had the pleasure of watching agencies that have become BAN Members grow and prosper in their business. He profoundly enjoys the journey of providing discovery for agencies that are considering becoming BAN Members, working with them towards completing the membership process, and finally seeing them join the network.
When Steve isn’t busy assisting new member agencies, he can be found spending quality time with his family and friends.
